Using the DLP Smart Lighting System to Analyse Projection Headlights

What Is DLP Intelligent Light System?


DLP Digital Projection Headlights


The DLP digital projection headlights of the intelligent light system are based on 2.6 million independently controlled micromirrors. By controlling the voltage at both ends of the mirrors, each micromirror can achieve a stepless deflection of +/12 degrees.


This DLP module projects with brightness above 120 lux, combined with an advanced air cooling system to ensure long-term efficient operation.


2.6 million pixel ultra-clear projection: The micromirror's subtle response speed is supported by the DMD digital microdevice chip, enabling the projection beam path and brightness to be accurately controlled with the fine adjustments of the micromirrors. This technology not only enhances driving safety but also improves vehicle communication capabilities.

Driving etiquette scenarios


The intelligent light system, combined with the DLP digital projection headlights, achieves automated functions of driving etiquette. For example, the pedestrian yielding mode can project interactive arrows on the ground, indicating safe passage for pedestrians.


The low-speed driving trajectory mode projects driving path effects in front of the vehicle, making the vehicle's path clear to surrounding pedestrians and other drivers, improving traffic safety and friendliness.


Driving assistance scenarios


The intelligent light system also supports multiple driving assistance functions, such as navigation assistance and distance reminders. In navigation assistance, the system can use DLP digital projection headlights to project directional arrows on the road, providing clear navigation guidance to the driver, reducing night driving visual burden and driving fatigue.
